Mechanism of Action-
Drotaverine inhibits the phosphodiesterase enzyme and increases the concentration of cAMP and thus decreases the calcium uptake by the cells or changes its distribution.
Mefenamic Acid inhibits the cox-1 and cox-2 and reduces the activity of prostaglandin synthetase and is the mediator of inflammation
It temporarily reduces the symptoms of pain.
