This composition contains drotaverine and mefenamic acid which is used to provide relief from abdominal cramps and pain.
They done it by preventing the release of certain chemical messengers.

Mechanism of Action-

Drotaverine inhibits the phosphodiesterase enzyme and increases the concentration of cAMP and thus decreases the calcium uptake by the cells or changes its distribution.

Mefenamic Acid inhibits the cox-1 and cox-2 and reduces the activity of prostaglandin synthetase and is the mediator of inflammation
It temporarily reduces the symptoms of pain.

It is 90% bound to plasma proteins
It undergoes oxidation
It is excreted via kidneys
