LYCSAR – SYP

This composition contains essential vitamins and minerals i.e. vitamin D3 and calcium or zinc which are used to overcome the deficiency of calcium in the blood and is indicated in diseases such as osteomalacia, rickets. In these conditions demineralization of bones occurs and therefore further decrease in calcium in the blood and increased the level of parathyroid hormone.

Lycopene is obtained from plant and is known as carotenoid or red colour pigment that has antioxidant property. It provides protection against cancer or from sunburns. The free radicals generate the oxidative stress and the stress is responsible for generation of many chronic diseases.

Pyridoxine is the known as vitamin B6 and it maintains the health of nerves, skin or red blood cells. It is mainly indicated for the treatment of peripheral neuropathy. Pyridoxine is converted to its active form pyridoxine-5-phosphate which acta as cofactor for various processes such as synthesis of nucleic acid, amino acid and haemoglobin.

Cyanocobalamin is vitamin B12 and is important for the reproduction, cell growth, red blood cell production, for protein synthesis. Its deficiency leads to the occurrence of pernicious anemia.

Folic acid helps the body to maintain new cells, promote the synthesis of Deoxyribonucleic acid and prevent the changes in DNA which may further leads to cancer.

Zinc is the important mineral and helps the body to maintain immunity, blood sugar level and keeps the skin, eye or heart healthy when given in proper limit.

Iodine is a mineral which is obtained from the food as well as from the soil. It helps in the regulation of hormones and leads to development of foetus. the main use of iodine is to maintain the thyroid health and also it reduces the risk of goitre.

Vitamins are the essential component which our body required for the protective functions. Vitamins are of types i.e. water soluble and fat soluble. the deficiency of these vitamins leads to the development of many diseases such as scurvy, beriberi, rickets or night blindness.

Proteins are known as macromolecules which helps to repair the body tissues and synthesize hormones, enzymes. They are the precursor or known as building blocks or bones and cartilages in the body.

  • In parathyroid deficiency

Mechanism of action-

Calcium Carbonate work by enhancing intestinal absorption of calcium.
Vitamin D3 maintains the normal level of calcium in the blood by making the absorption of calcium and phosphorus via small intestine when taken through diet.
Zinc improves the absorption of electrolytes, ions and minerals and also enhances the immune response.
