This composition contains lornoxicam and paracetamol in combination which works by reducing pain stimulus by blocking the certain neurochemical substances that causes redness and swelling.

Lornoxicam belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and falls under the classification of oxicam.
It has both anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.
It potentially inhibits synthesis of prostaglandins.

Paracetamol belongs to non-opioid category of analgesics. It has antipyretic effect and also reduces pain.

Mechanism of Action-

Lornoxicam inhibits the cyclooxygenase enzyme and inhibits the prostaglandin and thromboxane’s synthesis thus reduces pain sensations and inflammation.
Paracetamol blocks the cox enzyme indirectly. it directly acts on the heat regulating centres such as peripheral vasodilation and sweating or loss of body heat.
