VARNAC-P

This product contains Aceclofenac and paracetamol which is used to provide relief from the pain. They work together by blocking the actions of certain chemicals which mediates pain, inflammation and fever.
This drug is taken with and after meals in order to prevent the gastric irritation when taken empty stomach.
 They selectively inhibit prostaglandin secretion in the brain where they exert analgesic and antipyretic actions.
Do not take fatty and fried food along with this medication and drink plenty of water with it.

Mechanism of action-

Aceclofenac and paracetamol inhibits the cox-1 and cox-2 enzyme by blocking the enzyme prostaglandin synthetase which causes the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandins.

It is 99% bound to proteins
It is metabolized in the liver
It is excreted via urine and via feces also

Paracetamol-
Paracetamol is absorbed orally
It shows lesser protein binding
It undergoes glutathione and glucuronidation conjugation
It is excreted via urine
